The floor plates and magazines are not cross-compatible with each other, but the actions are basically the same. I&#039;m about to send my creedmoor off to get it Inletted properly, and I&#039;m going to have them make the ctr action cut to see if it makes any difference. Bolt throw still seems to be the main issue, which is puzzling to me&#8211;Unless they ship the ctr with a modified bolt stop, which doesn&#039;t sound like something tikka would do. </p>

<p>Slapped the CTRx stock/dbm on my .22-250 varmint model, and it&#039;s running fine so far, with one exception. The bolt doesn&#039;t travel back far enough to grab the round if it&#039;s seated to the rear of the magazine. </p>

Thinner/lighter lubricants can allow the lugs to gall over time. Most bolt guns prefer to be pretty dry, in my experience. <p>1. The Talleys are the High size, if memory serves.</p>
<p>2.  I only paid for chambering, installation, and muzzle threading.  There was no bedding involved, since the B&amp;C stocks have an aluminum block.  That said, LRI does chambering/install jobs for $325-350, depending on the action and the blank. It also doesn&#039;t really make marketing sense, especially immediately after dropping the hugely popular CTR.</p>

Also, if your throat is short, you&#039;ll be able to see it on the bullets of the rounds you weren&#039;t able to chamber. Smoking/sharpie-ing the bullet will help identify it, but if that throat is short enough to keep from chambering, it&#039;ll leave a noticeable scuff on the bullet. </p>
