Its sprung steel so should be ok to close up again and push the cup over. For peace of mind though a new one is probably best.</p>

Holding the bolt twist the rear cap clockwise, away from the bolt handle, it should then slide off. Return to original position turning anti clockwise but not to far. Put a small allen key (US Hex wrench)  in between the hole you can now see and turn anti clockwise.</p>

My firing pin was protruding 84 thou and my other Tikkas were 54 thou so we machined 20 thou off the end.
