Hey, this my first post. Im from North Carolina & recently bought a Tikka T3 ss in .243 win. I picked it up & it felt so good in my hands. The bolt was very smooth. I couldn't put it down so I took it home. I have been hunting with .243 win for deer several years now. The trigger was a little on the heavy side so I adjusted it to suite me. I wasn't sure of how much to tighten the action screws so I went with 55inch lbs. Is that too much or will that be OK? Any tips/advice for shooting Tikka T3 rifles, favorite factory ammo in .243win , scope mounts/rings will be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum IMHO the best scope mount ring are from third eye tactical , the only trouble with that for you is that there over here in England , but I'm sure you could get some sent over , there not cheep but are a quality bit of kit -
35-40 inch pounds max, on the action screws.

Welcome to the forum. The trigger can be made quite nice with an after market spring that cost very little but makes a big difference.

That's where I got mine from he also fitted it for me and fitted my muzzle brake ,
