T3x LITE ROUGHTECH -Ember-To Orange?
Hey all,
I picked up a T3x LITE ROUGHTECH ember in 30-06.. My intention is to use is this fall hunting season for Deer and Bear here in New England. While I have no problem with it for deer, what about bear or just in the woods in general…
Is the orange fleck in the stock a negative? I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I like it myself…looks like chard branch in the campfire (to me anyway)
I’m thinking the stainless barrel is more a negative then the stock but never had a silver barreled hunting rifle…
What say you?

I my younger years, I killed a lot of groundhogs with a stainless Mini-14. The whistle pigs have pretty good eyesight; yet, I didn’t notice killing any less with the stainless over one of my blue guns.
In the county I live in each year close to 150 black bear are harvested. Wearing some orange clothing is mandatory. I think you’re going to be fine with your purchase. I just got a Tikka Arctic with the orange / gray laminate stock if that makes you more comfortable with your choice.
