Very nice , looks exactly same as the Ruger but with a Tikka bolt ? Could be just a Photoshop picture

I don't think it is in the link on the first post its on the Sako stand at a show. Read on face book that its going to be a Tikka stock option.
Looks nice and hopefully its priced to compete with the Ruger

It should be better the the ruger on quality as in my eyes the ruger is terrible, it shoots very well but the fit and finish is terrible its price over here far too high, it should be sub 1k but its around the £1400 mark

No Photoshop :
To my taste it looks too Tacticool, too Super Soaker Waterblaster. Never been into that ” Tac” look .. 😉
On the other hand it's a bright move on Tikka's part since it will probably decimate the “need” for aftermarket Chassies. -

Nice rifle!
Ruger really caught a good wave with the precision rifle, they have been selling as fast as they can make them (I have heard). I agree that fit and finish is lacking in the Ruger (esp. At that price!). If Berretta keeps Tikka quality and joins this tactical trend (fad?) they will sell a lot of rifles. I doubt I will be buying either though (happy with my Berserk stock). -

I had the pleasure of hosting Beretta at our shop last week and I discussed this with them.
So far it is a design prototype for the European military market. No word if it will be offered stateside.
They equated it to the Canadian Ranger Rifle. Everyone wants one, but only the Rangers get it.

Why do they tease us? This sort of thing kills me. I believe that tikka could sell way more rifles in the states. Seems like they just don't want to or don't care to. I have had so many people ask me about my tikka rifles. I have let many shoot them. They all walk away thoroughly impressed, as they should. They are damn good rifles. I see the ruger precision rifle flying off shelves and I think to myself, I can buy a tikka and an aftermarket chassis and end up with a better shooting (and looking) rifle with a better/smoother action for around the same money. Sorry for the rant. Maybe I am just ticked/jealous that I don't have access or as much access as others, to some of the Tikka models. Maybe there is a good reason that more models aren't brought over to the states. If there is, I am sure you all will inform me. I have had humble pie before, I'm sure I'll have it again.

The reason they limit the models is because of the Department of State.
They have to pay an import tax on each model and variation they import. Needless to say, this isn't cheap. We were brain storming ideas and hopefully, we can launch some of these models (or at least similar) here.
Things are in the works….
