Norma VLD bullets at slow 3000 fps.<br />Barrel is factory, standard, Only thing I have done to it is rechamber it for ackley improved.</p>
<p>Action is not bedded, it&#039;s just against the aluchassis.</p>

<p>Looks really great, and the caliberchoise is very nice to.<br />You reach the same velocity as I do in My 24&#8243; barreled 6,5x55AI.<br />I can go higher but it effects the brass and barrellife to much.</p>

<p>I would however have choosed a direct mount instead.<br />Sturdyer, better, less screws, bigger vial&#8230;&#8230;.</p>

<p>But I got a feeling that Tikka/sako barrels last much longer than normal US made barrels.<br />For example a TRG .338 Barrel have a repuation to last 4000-5000 rounds.<br />That is pretty far from where the majority of aftermarket barrels are.</p>

<p>Replacement barrels should be sold by the importer!</p>

<p>As there is no tactical mags yet for T3, I am waiting until Alutek are ready with theirs.</p>

<p>As far as I know there is at least the following options for direct mounting.<br />1. Tikka Ring mount<br />2. Tikka optilock<br />3. Warne<br />4. Apel <br />5. Spuhr<br />6.
