Love this rifle! Extremely accurate bugger. The best factory loads i've tested to date are Lapua 69gr and Norma Match 77gr. Truly an excellent gun indeed ..

Tikka Shooters Forum favicon icon 6 Bullseyes

The YoDave T3 / Quad spring will take the pullweight down to 9-10 oz. I put one on my Super Varmint (which also has the set-trigger) and the trigger is a thing of Beauty now at the “non-set” mode.
I´ve had YoDave´s spring on my Quad a couple of years (in fact it was my friend and i who asked YD to make them and we send him a Quad OEM spring for measurements 😉 ) and with polished trigger internals and moly powder the Quad pull weight is around 7-8 oz. Nice and crisp.

Exactly! I´d never put that crappy ammo thru any of my rifles. Ever !

Prvi Partizan is Yugoslavian (or ex Yugo – don´t know from what “State” the Partizan comes from) crap ammo so most probably there´s something weird with the ammo itself.

I just received my Berserk Stock from MT and it is a very nice piece of work!!  Cheek piece and But pad adjustments are crisp and there is no wiggle.  It comes with a recoil lug installed (I forget what it is made of).  Now I just have to decide which of my T3's to put in it!

    Don´t be a wuss : Buy one for each ! 🙂 🙂

From talking to the sportsmans warehouse regional manager and a firearm manager guy at Cabela's. It sounds like the T3x's will get here late July to early August.  Also from talking to them it sounded like they are going to start phasing the T3's out instead of manufacturing both models.

Sounds about right. No use to keep two almost identical guns competing against each other so one (T3) may most probably be ditched.

Tikka Shooters Forum favicon icon 6 Bullseyes

I've never used bore guides but am trying to improve my cleaning method. I have some nice rods now but need a bore guide that works well for a Tikka T3 sporter. I see a lot of people like the Possum Hollow guides but don't know which one fits properly,

I have a Possum Hollow for my .223 and it works very well.

I think Sako makes the Quad which is a switch barrel rimfire (although is costs north of $1500).. Couldn't you put an after market 17 mach 2 barrel on one?

Oh yes. I have a Quad Range (in a GRS Sporter/Varmint stock at the moment) and it´s a great barrel changer. What i meant is that there will , most probably, be any new model .17 M2 since no one in Europé uses that and what i have Heard it´s almost extinct cal over there too. Pitty since it´s a fun round but the .17 HMR blows it out of the water so it was never any hit over here.
Eley used to make cartridges but stopped after a while .. 🙁

Sir Ville, What I find interesting is if you go to Tikka website and click on the T3X icon, then go to filtering options it list all the caliber options along with the 22lr, 22 wmr, 17 hmr and 17 mach 2!

One thing is for sure : Neither Tikka nor Sako will make a new .17M2. That cal is all but dead this side of the Pond. There has been a rumor circulating about a Tikka Rimfire though.

Got it all together now. Nice stock, feels great to hold. Minor gripes with all Three stocks though:
    – The load bolt recess is Little too shallow so the load arm bottoms on the stock. Little fancy Dremeling fixed that.
    – The recess for the bolt release axel is also a bit too shallow so same thing there.
    – The OEM rear stock bolt is a bit too long for the Berserk so i ground it down a millimeter.

After these small flaws were fixed the stock passform is great. The action almost sucks down into its Place.
I had the same problem with all Three stocks and i´ve e-mailed GRS about the situation.
