Would this be a good choice for my soon-to-be T3 : http://mdttac.eu/tac21-chassis-system.html

You do realize that everyone is going to jump you in a dark alley for getting a Tikka with a set trigger
🙂
Just kidding… or not…
Fortunately i´m armed then 😉

55's shoot great out of a 8 twist…Nosler BT Spitzers being my favourite in either 55 or 60gr.
Hornady 53gr Amax also shoots very well…Thanks! Good to know. I have 1000 rds of Fiocchi with 55gr bullets that i got almost for free. I also have around 500 rds of Lapua with 69gr Scenar bullets so i quess i´m set to break in the new rifle once it arrives. The permission (FAC) processing time is ridiculously long in Sweden. Eventhough i already own several firearms it still takes 15-16 weeks to get that new permit. 🙁
The gun is ready and waiting though ! -

I just want to introduce myself as a new member and soon-to-be Tikka Owner. I have a T3 Super Varmint on order , with a set-trigger and the shorter 510mm factory threaded 1/8″ twist barrel.
I have a question for those in-the-know : Is that twist OK for 55gr bullets or are those maybe too light ? This is my first .223 so excuse me if it´s a dumb question … 😉Great buy, good luck.
That is the exact Tikka I've been looking for, where did you buy it.
I bought it directly from Finland. I live in Sweden but am of a Finnish origin and have relatives who work at/for Sako. The set-trigger is an option , at least in Europe.
