Lighter recoil, flater shooting ect.<br />   Tikkia action is sooooo smooth and trigger is great. Stock yes&#8230;. action no&#8230; just the front recoil surface should be in contact.<br />  also as far as plastic stocks go tikka is one of the better ones. Enjoy as is or up grade stock.</p>

This assembly must have the correct depth in the mortise  in the stock to feed correctly. I opted for a laminated version for my ctr.<br />Barreled action will drop in. You will need to fit the lower<br />Metal. Not real hard. The one issue is the depth for the lower<br />Metal needs to go deeper. About 1/8 in recessed.<br />Just duplicate the factory spacing all will be fine.<br />   I did not on my first attempt and had feed issues.</p>

Tape the top of the lug (the receiver side only). Get shim stock or a fealer gauge select the thickness that will wedge the lug in place.
