<p>I&#8217;ve spent good money on stocks over the years and while they have performed they cost a lot!</p>
<p>I got the same performance out of this $100us Spike camp stock as I have with $600us stocks.</p>
<p>Its obviously not a high end stock but for a hunting rifle that will get dinged and scratched I&hellip;</p>

I had pans that I would immediately pillar bed the stocks to start off but for know will just shoot as is.  The 308 accuracy with the Hornady ELDx is spot on, just so happens to be my go to hunting round so happy about that. Will try some of the proven handholds for this barrel later this&hellip;</p>

Very happy.</p>
<p>POI change from factory stock to Boyds was almost 1&#8243; low and 1&#8243; left with sighter.</p>
<p>Not that bad, I was expecting it to be off by a lot more.</p>
<p>Adjusted scope and shot a 3 shot group..<span>This rife is used for hunting so not worried about 5 shot groups.</span></p>
<p>First group with factory Hornady 178grn ELDx&hellip;</p>

<p>Try 3 cold bore shots and report back.</p>

<p>Tikka rifles are basically a stripped down where they can cheaper version of the Sako platform.<br />Sako offers both a true long and short action where Tikka is built on a long action.<br />Sako has other improvements on the bolt, and gives you a 3 position safety where Tikka is only a 2 position.</p>

If not sometimes the action will only be in contact with the pillars sometimes suspended off the inletting and not setting uniformly. </p>
