Tier – one unimount , has used by all the premium (European ) scope company’s

I would go with an EGW HD rail and Nightforce rings.

This is pretty much my setup for my long range guns…no issues at all but Tier 1 mounts are pretty nice to have if you want to spend the money.

SeaDog,
I have been using Warne rings for a little of 5 years now on a few rifles, to include 3 different 300 magnums. I am very impressed with the value, ease of mounting, and reliability of the Warne rings. My new T3x will be getting a set of Warne rings once I figure out the scope that is going on the rifle.
On other forums and websites you will see Vickers tactical and sniper forums recommend Spur. I have not used Spur before have only seen them on a rifle at the range and talked with the owner. Mile High rifle highly recommends these highest quality rings….Spur rings are expensive though, I am told bomb proof.
Good luck

I´ve used Spuhr mounts on many rifles. The owner / creator (Håkan Spuhr) lives nearby and he sure knows rifles and scope mounts. The quality of these mounts is second to none and the price thereafter.
Another good choice would be the other European brand Tier One as mentioned earlier. -
If budget is not a criteria, then spur, or addmount . I am inclined to go with addmount since they do great work on other aspects of Precision shooting.
They do fantastic scope covers, and great mounts. -
I know this is an ancient thread, but I’m a new-B here, and wanted to share my positive thoughts about Warne’s LR SKEL Gen 2 Extended unimount with 20 MOA … excellent for the price (~$150), and a strong enough mount for the mild 6.5 CM round! Tikka really short-sheeted TAC A1 purchasers by not providing an OE 20 MOA Picatinny rail (IMHO), which would have allowed us a great selection of rings (as opposed to unimounts).

Any of the big names for rails and rings will work just fine but get a 20MOA rail…
