Different magazines with different T3x .223 models?
I am in the process of narrowing my choices for a .223 T3x and I'm noticing that different models are listed on the Tikka web site as coming with different capacity magazines. For example –
Varmint – 5 round
Lite Compact – 4 round
Stainless – 3 roundIs this correct, why is it done, and are they interchangeable?

I wouldn’t worry about the mag , just get the rifle and swop out the tikka mag for one of mountain tactical metal ones

Will the Mountain Tactical Tikka T3/T3x Gen2 Billet Magazine – Short Action 3 Round magazine work with a T3x Lite in caliber .223 Rem?

Mountain Tactical from my knowledge does NOT offer a billet 223 magazine…only 308 short action and 30-06 long action cartridges…You are stuck with the factory mags or other aftermarket offerings for 223.

Thanks for sharing that information. Since the OP inquired about .223, the 2nd post in this thread led me to believe their mags would function in the .223 Rem.
