I have a 6mm (similar to 243) and have good results with both RL19 and IMR4350.

Well my friend always says how expensive his 22-250 ammo is and I'm not impressed with his gun at all. He couldn't get it to group at all a the range the 1 day using my lead sled and blamed it on his brand new scope. I know the gun wasn't moving because i don't think ive ever seen a steadier way to shoot than the lead sled. I'm kinda leaning more towards the .223 more and more. I coyote competition i was in last year 17 were taken by the 223 and 5 by a 204.
22-250 has higher velocity than 223 = flatter trajectory and more energy with same bullet.
My T3 22-250 has taken a few coyotes and it's pretty accurate:

A trip to a gunsmith would probably end the problem. I sure wouldn't live with that if I couldn't fix it myself.

I have one in 30-06 that I picked up for $400. It was neglected and needed some TLC. The thing shoots lights out but it does kick a bit. A limb saver helps a lot. My next thing will probably be a muzzle brake.
My recommendation: Shoot it!

You can shoot magnum primers just back down your load about 1 grain and work back up to be safe.

Muzzle brake to help with the recoil and you can get a recoil pad.
Nice shooting!

Hope that isn't a 300 WinMag. . . 😮

That's because his stock is for a T3 and not a M695.

I've seen them go for about $700, I think. . .

Never heard of a Tikka T3 M895.
My guess is his action was not a Tikka T3.

A muzzle brake will help reduce felt recoil.
Very nice rifle!
