Nice shootin , another deer killer down .. where did you get the camo done and how are the Amax bullets for fur friendly ?

I did the camo myself and the A-Max are real fur friendly if you hit them in the right spot. I've taken 4 with no exit wounds and a hard to find entrance and still DRT.
That last one got hit in the lower jaw and made a mess and another I hit quartering away in the heart and the bullet blew apart the breast bone.

nice job on the paint !! Getting up the nerve to paint mine too . So if I hit em ribs / lungs I'm good to go ? How hot ? I've been using 55 gr. Hornady SP at about 3400 and usually not bad , but there's always something better right ?

Don't shoot 'em to high up in the ribs, they'll run until they drop from blood loss. These animals are tough! Try to get heart/lungs, aim a little lower than the shoulder joint and just behind it.

75 yards, chest shot, 52 A-Max, DRT.
