In order to fit the full 300WM AICS magazine into the Tikka T3, the rifle and stock need some minor modifications. The Long Action actually needs more pieces to make it work.
Oscar designed his chassis similar to our Long Action AICS bottom metal kit we are about to launch (we collaborated a bit for consistency).
In my opinion, adapting the T3 long action platform to accept AICS magazines and use their full potential will be a game changer for Tikka owners.

Thank you for the support guys!
Today was the first day I've felt “human” for quite a while. I think I'm finally picking up speed on road to recovery.
I wanted to post this update because we are getting cussed out almost everyday by customers… This is new to us because we pride ourselves on good customer service. We've had a rough start to the year, but we are being proactive to smooth everything out.
Eric – I have designed a sold metal magazine for the T3. Personally, I think this will be huge if we can keep the price point reasonable. They take a ton of work to make so I want to make sure we are ahead of schedule on all our other products before we dive into making these.

Hi Zane,
Robert and I reviewed the server and there were two replies sent to your inquiries. It even shows you replied to one of the emails that we had sent you regarding your inquiry.
Your order was placed 1/4 and I am sorry you have had to wait so long.
We sold through two batches of all of our rails at the end of last year and have been machining non stop to fill the back orders.
I guess these are good problems to have though… It could be worse, no one could want our products! 😉

Hi Zane,
Which email address have you been using? Rob prides himself in getting through the 100-150 we get per day within 24 hours. Most of the time when people say they don't get a response, it is because the response went into their spam folder.
Be sure to use vasb@grzc.gvxxnfubbgref.pbz as the general inquiry mailbox.
We are expecting to have those back from Salt Bath Nitriding in a couple weeks.
After selling out of all the Gen1 Elite Rails, we figured we would upgrade everyone to Gen 2 Elite Rails in their kits. It has taken longer than we expected to get them done due to some health problems, and I apologize for that.
Also note that you can call us anytime at 406-285-2371. Email is fastest, but the phone works too.

Our shop ;D
All we do is Tikkas and Tikka parts… Well, we do some work for some contractor friends of ours, but those products haven't been released to the public yet.

Beretta customer service is one of the worst on the planet.
Ship the rifle to our shop with the ammo you are using. We'll see if we can get to the bottom of it.

No worries there as the system will be expandable. We have states here that have funky laws limiting mag capacity so we figured and adjustable system would cover everyone and keep us in the clear.
For example:
Buy the 3 round billet mag –
Buy an add-on extension for 2 more rounds or…
Buy an add-on extension for 5 more rounds… etc. -

Yep! Factory T3s with no modification… except for the WSMs… we've designed a replacement bolt stop that doesn't cost $45 like Tikka's.
It will come as a kit.

We will definitely make an announcement when we get them running. The system will be expandable from 3-10 rounds.
This brings up the question of COAL
We run WSMs LONG… And have been modifying mags to make them work.
Should our extended mags fit the factory length WSMs, or allow more length for tuning?
I'm making them For you guys so you should have some input here.

I hear you loud and clear Northern.
I've got something up my sleeve you guys are going to love! We are just very behind on current products right now because the VF1 went down…
Three new machines are on their way but until then, I'm trying to keep with everything on our mini mill…
Just know that something very cool is coming down the pike 🙂

Definitely keep us posted Eric.
OB,
We are currently purchasing 3 new CNCs so we can add to our product offerings. The one little guy we have and the VF1 can barely keep up to you guys right now! 🙂
Once those machines are installed, we have some fun projects we are going to proof and I think you guys are going to enjoy 😀

35in/lbs on wood and laminate
45-50in/lbs on the plastic stocksYou can play with that a bit and see what your rifle likes.
Definitely check that lug. The WSMs, 7 mag, and 25-06 really show issues early on with lug damage. Out of the box is still pretty strange…

Also, make sure your action screws are torqued to spec. If the action has been out of the stock, the rifle could be off the lug or fitting loose.
It's a rare moment when a T3 doesn't leave the factory in working order.

Also, remove your recoil out and inspect it. High recoiling calibers like the 7 mag make short work of the aluminum factory lug. If it has and upside down trapezoid indented into it, your action will move in the stock after every shot.
We've saved many T3s from the chopping block with our replacement lugs.
