BOLTHORN INTRODUCTORY SALE
Posted by Robert_P on February 19, 2015 at 8:53 pmWe have a limited window of opportunity to get a head start on GRS' new chassis- the Bolthorn. If we can put together an order by tomorrow, we will avoid delays (IWA show will cause some major delays if we wait).

sorry guys- had to place the order! coupon has expired. We'll post up a full report when we see them.

We're looking at 4-6 weeks for the order I'm placing today, but if we awit until next week to order, it will be more like 8 weeks due to the volume from the IWA show.
We're ordering a couple extra since we think they'll catch on. So if you can't jump in today, we might be able to cover you when they show up. 😉

wow , simply WOW. beautiful stock but way out of my price range.
Question though, why are they charging more for long action vs short action? All T3s are same as far as actions and mags are concerned. These guys seem to be milking the precision cow. I understand that good rigs cost dearly, but I call shenagans when they claim different action lengths require them to charge differently when there are no different action lengths.
Still want one, but rich guys beware. -

In order to fit the full 300WM AICS magazine into the Tikka T3, the rifle and stock need some minor modifications. The Long Action actually needs more pieces to make it work.
Oscar designed his chassis similar to our Long Action AICS bottom metal kit we are about to launch (we collaborated a bit for consistency).
In my opinion, adapting the T3 long action platform to accept AICS magazines and use their full potential will be a game changer for Tikka owners.

So what's the problem with AICS mags in a Tikka long action? I purchased a new bottom metal that should accept AICS 300wm mags, for a swede build.
