Tikka T3 accuracy issues
I bought a new Tikka T3 Lite Stainless in 7mag. It shoots all over the place. I had a Nikon Prostaff 5 on it with DNZ rings and was unable to zero it. I sent the scope back thinking it was the problem. They repaired it and I mounted it again, same problem. The rifle shot all over the place (8″ groups at 100 yards). I switched ammo from 175 grain core lokts to match grade HSM 165 grain. Same thing, shot all over the place. I sent the scope back a second time and then put a cheap Pentax on it that a buddy had. I only had 7 rounds, sighting it in with 4 but did not shoot any more once I hit the bulls eye so not sure if it wouldv'e grouped. I then sold my Nikon and bought a Meopta Meopro and mounted it with DNZ rings. I tried sighting it in and was able to get close to bullseye but was shooting 4-8″ groups at 100 yards from a rest that was completely inconsistent. What do you guys think may be the problem?
