Of the accuracy robbers, the crown is the least likely, you can purposely mar that thing with a grinder and it won't put your rounds out of 1 moa at 100 yds. 3 moa means big problems, usually related to bedding, but not in usual sense. You could take out the recoil lug completely and not see this level of innaccuracy on a new gun. Your gun is defective …period… Return it and get a new one.

I spoke with the manager over the entire customer service department and he said his hands are tied, that it shot .5 inch groups and that's all he had to go by. He said that they do not take the action out of the stock to test fire it, but then later stated they take it off to adjust the trigger back to factory spec before shipping it back out. All they do is clean it then mount a Weaver 6x scope to it and use Federal 150 grain match grade ammo. Didn't quite add up to me. I pick it up from the UPS service center tomorrow and will take it out this weekend to see how it shoots. I asked him specifically what inch/pounds of torque they use on the action screws since they adjusted my trigger without asking me and I'd like to adjust it back to how I had it once I determine if it shoots how he says it does. How does it go from >6moa to <1moa without touching a thing. Simple answer, it doesn't.
Jason McHann, what is the shop you're referring to and where is it? Thanks for the input guys. -

Our shop ;D
All we do is Tikkas and Tikka parts… Well, we do some work for some contractor friends of ours, but those products haven't been released to the public yet.

LHi I’m from Australia. Tikka had a bad run of barrels. You need to pull a lead projectile from a .22lr and crush it to rough size of your calibre. Keep running it through your barrel till it runs like a proper size projectile. It should be consistent resistance the whole way through. Mine had tight and loose spots. 2 times t3 lites replaced under warranty. Come to the point berretta attended the local range with me after I spat the dummy and sent them a letter of demand for costs incurred. Mine was in .270 win. But yeah that’s the best way to test the barrel. Tight and loose spots will throw bullets everywhere. Before I even use a new rifle now I do this test. Beretta offered me a job over this lol. My grand father was a gunsmith for context.
