Help Me Build My First Tikka
I have a confession that may cost me some credibility around here.
I spend my days at Mountain Tactical helping people upgrade their Tikkas. I answer the questions. I know the parts. I talk about bottom metal more than any normal person should.
But I don’t own a Tikka.
That’s gotta change.
I’m documenting the process as part of our Field Notes series, and I want the Tikka Shooters crowd involved from the beginning.
So, if you were choosing my first Tikka, what would you buy?
Which model? Which caliber? What barrel length? Would you buy it exactly as you want it, or choose the best starting point and build from there? What would you upgrade first—and what would you leave alone?
