hard to believe that you can easily bend a laminate stock but if it that close sand it and give it a try

I just got a CTR chambered in .308. My purpose for this gun is for hunting and occasional, casual long range target shooting.

The rifle will already be one of my heavier ones. I am wanting to get the stock (whatever it will be) hydrodipped; should I look at another option or will I be good to go with the factory stock?

Also, the mags for these are stupid expensive. Can you change the bottom metal to take cheaper, but still quality mags?

I think you should go for it… and by the way I will take your CTR stock. What do you want for it

and could not imagine why they would have put loc-tight on those screws.

things are much better now they came out nice.

    Hello Everyone!

I just bought my first Tikka T3 Lite 270. I need to get a scope for it for this years upcoming hunting season. Optics are a new world for me so I'm looking for a little help. I'm looking for something under 500 bucks that I can hunt deer and elk with from 100-300 yards. 500$ is a stretch and of course would like to go cheaper… but that's about my limit. I believe I'm looking for something in the 4-14×40 area so my real question is brand. I have a 3×9 Leupold on my 7mag but that's as deep as my optics world has gone. I've been told that I should typically spend as much on a scope as I did on the rifle…. which isn't really an option for me.

SWFA 10x with mill quad reticle in a mil/mil configuration
    you can range with it
    excellent glass
    tough and 299.00 bucks

So the question is…..good brand, fair price, big game scope out to 300 yds (but that's stretching it).

    Thank you!

new here, new to tikka but not to the SWFA scopes
I have been using these for years to the point where it is the only scope i own.
The mil quad reticle is great. mil/mil setup is the only way to go.(forget bdc, or a mil/moa setup)
I just purchased a tikka t3 lite adjustable in 260 remington and as soon as i got it home i order a 20x SWFA scope and some vortex rings
You absolutely cannot beat these scopes for the money and they will hold their own against the $2k scopes. Tracking is dead on, glass is super clear, they are tough, they are reliable and they are 300 bucks

what is up with the verification on posting????????? turn that shi% off
