I agree with Dogdown, if I'm not mistaken the crossfire line is Chinese and you have to go to the viper line to get the Philipine upgrade.

Glad to hear your results, the drilling thing I'm not so fond of, but if it survives the “bounce”test I can't protest too much

Redding dies are usually better
Can't say about some cartridges, but the 7.5 Swiss are particularly better in terms of reddingForester dies are ok, but Redding dies are better
Forester are good if you do some customizing
Otherwise just get Redding and bushings -

I have 2 1st gen mags, and 2 2nd gen mags
All work well, we as precision shooters need to work out the problems..
David waters mags are already fixed -

To be clear the David waters mags are the best mags that fit the standard Tikka bottom metal you will find.
He is constantly working on updates
All that said, he is working on our stuff in spite of the horrible government bullshit he has been working around.

Dog is correct, (lol no surprise), do the 7mm mag and work up the loads…
Of course you cannot use the new Berger 195 7mm ( or whatever the new long range 7 is)You need to look at a good bullet company and what will stabilize in your barrel.
Any other questions that we can answer? -

I can't say if your super light will perform better than the gaurenteed accuracy tikka promises on all their rifles
If you want a 300 WM that shoots less than 1 moa, you can comfortably buy a tikka!
If you hand load I am comfortable in predicting sub moa accuracy with factory barrels etc. -

Hi D mini
Your stock find should work well with any barreled action you like.
Some of the interchangeability you may hear about are less Than perfect, but I have 5 Tikkas that I swap stocks with that shoot similarly. I think Tikkas are as close to modularity as is likely on a modular set up. -

Thanks for the info!
2769 fps for a 150 gr bullet is a bit low in terms of fpsTryH4350 or other since it is hard to find.
But if it. Is accurate don't mess with. It -

Dog is giving great advice
I am still working up loads but if you have a 1:8 twist then follow Dogdown's advice.
