reloading advice
Hi,
I am new to the forums and a new Tikka owner. .223 Tactical. I love the gun so far and form the posts on here I will love it for years to come.I have been reloading simple handgun ammo and am now starting to reload for my .223 for accuracy.
I have been checking out the web and this site and have gotten a lot of information but am curious?
I have been shooting factory ammo to see what my Tikka likes, but, there are so many different bullets, powders, primers, brass… and changing bullet weight and powder charge, oh boy, the combinations are endless!
How do you guys go about narrowing down your search?I have some ideas of my own but I could spend years trying out different things.
I have picked up several different weight bullets and am going to start with the starting charge (Laymans reloading manual)Â and go from there, but if say 66 shoots better than 80 at starting load, might 80 shoot better than 66 at higher loads?
Any insight to what your process would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
