For the MOST part…your most accurate loads have the case 90%-95% full of powder. Every Nosler manual I have lists the percentage of fill for each powder in that caliber.

When I work up a new load, the first thing I do is see which powder fills up the case 90%, and start with that powder and go from there. It almost always works.

Thanks rudy. What are your thoughts on the 12″ vs 14″ handguard?

I see the only weak link in the whole system being the folding stock (maybe I'm wrong). But, it wouldn't affect accuracy. If I go this route–and I prob will–I'll get the Tac stock w/o folding option.

Glad I could help. 😉 Makes you feel a little more in “tune” with you rifle when you fix, or modify small stuff like that.

You can also mill out .040″-.060″ out of the front of the magazine if you need the xtra room for longer bullets. Leave SOME material there, tho, for strength. I've done it to every magazine I use. ;D
