I have a t3 lite ss in. 308 and dont have a caliper to measure the muzzle of the barrels outer diameter. Anyone happen to know the outer diameter? I am asking because I want to get the barrel threaded for a 5/8×24 tpi muzzle brake. Is the barrel thick enough for that thread pattern?
no you would need to use a 9/16×28 and I believe all the lite barrels are .620. I was able to use a 5/8's brake but only because I had my barrel cut to 16″.

I will be using it for hunting sometimes but I just want some thING that will shoot the 55gr rounds flatter than my 223.

I would suggest using a clamp on muzzle brake for use during load developing so the gun has optimal accuracy And less recoil. I have one on my 300wm and it's great for just shooting.

I don't have pictures of the target and unfortunately I'm out of town for 3 weeks.

It cost me 250 bucks to have the 30-06 barrel rebored to the 35 whelen. I don't have pics of the target but I was getting 250gr loads shooting at .7 moa. The 35 whelen is a 30-06 case with a .35 bullet so it didn't take much work. I used jes reboring in oregon.

A 50mm vxL works great with a low dnz.

It's a 35 whelen with 16in barrel…there's enough room to put a leupold scope cover on it And then maybe a little more. It has since been threaded for a suppressor.

With the muzzle brake it kicks less than my 6.5 creedmoor.

I would like to see your results after the new recoil lug.

I have a vxl 50mm on my tikka and I run a low DnZ mount. It puts the scope right where it needs to be.

I have two of them and they are great but lacking on quality. My rifle sits canted in both stocks one being worse than the other. I've contacted B&C about the issue and they said was to sand the action area a little to help adjust the rifle in the stock. Well I removed more than they suggested and my rifles still don't sit straight in the stocks and it almost looks like the barrel is touching the stock at the end of the hand guard. I contacted them saying they needed to make things right and have yet to hear back from them a month later. I'm very disappointed and they have lost my business.
