I can't see how it wouldn't.

I'm leaning in the direction of scope issue now… It'll be interesting to see what vortex finds when they get it back

I've had both – and the zeiss hd glass is great! But…. I still have the vortex 4-16 FFP.
The z600 reticle in the zeiss was nice, too, but it had a crappy turret. The vortex glass isn't as good, but the turret more than makes up for that (I benefit from good eyes).
I don't like the pst as much as the HS LR FFP vortex, either. Having 1/2 moa clicks & the XLR reticle more than make up for illuminated reticle.
I haven't had opportunity to exercise the vortex warranty yet , but I've never heard a bad thing. I have warrantied a zeiss & my experience with them was great. -

The only one I've spent any time with is the long range hunter. It was super comfy & reasonably accurate for sure. Whichever you choose, they benefit greatly from bedding.

Gotta make one disclaimer first- I have the best eyes money can buy. LASIK has been very, very good to me!
I have a couple FFP HS lr's with the XLR reticle (2.5-10, 4-16), and spend regular time with PST's in FFP & SFP (spent some time with razors too). I've been fortunate to shoot with just about everything they make except for the new generation razors.
Focal clarity is good to very good on the vipers, and I don't generally sweat it much. Compared to my Leica though….. Let's not make that comparison. (Leica is more than twice the price). The vortex turret kicks the leica's butt, though.
I do get a slight shift in reticle-target relationship when I move my head, but honestly can't see the difference on paper inside 600 yards- the hits don't spread as much as I think they should. Past that, it comes into play rather sharply. At 850, a little wiggle in my head means 6″ on target, and past 1k I need to be very consistant with my cheek weld. -

I don't see much difference in parallax inside 600 yards

Mediums will work (lows, too depending on eye relief), but I strongly recommend using something that handles recoil. I went with our steel gen II rail on my 300 wsm & love it. I also have nothing but good experiences with PST's (but I prefer thebHS LR with the XLR reticle)

We have a design started, but there are a few product in front of it: receiver length rails, anodized bottom metal for factory mags & the same for AICS mags- long action, too (3.6″ coal), billet magazines, bolt handles, long action chassis, customizable cheek rest kits, and a bunch of similar products for M595/695, and a Sako picatinny rail– To name a few (not mentioning the AR's yet…)

I'm not too concerned about traffic (considering how little time I have to moderate). Between how busy we are at the shop & rifle season starting for elk this weekend, we're up to our necks. We should have a few more pictures to add as hunting season goes on though 😉

I found a screamin deal on a Leica recently. Between the generous eye relief & out of this world clarity, I'm in love

A few observations from my t3 300 wsm-
1) at <8# it was hard on scopes & stocks- recoil broke a zeiss conquest & tore the swivel stud out of the factory stock- running hot loads, of course....
2) loaded near max at factory magazine length I get 2950 fps from a 208 amax. It doesn't inspire me to load longer coals just yet.
3) with the thumbhole tactical stock & a muzzle break (closer to 10# now) it's much more enjoyable to shoot & therefore I'm more consistent with it.Overall, I will most likely try our aics compatible bottom metal when it's ready- to run longer coal, but I won't go with the short action & alpha mags for the 300. That setup runs great on my 7saum & 180 grain berger hybrids, but I'll need more than alpha's 2.96″ max coal for the 300. I've talked with guys who have had great success with coal in the 3.15″ neighborhood on their 300wsm's.

I've found replacing the crappy factory recoil lug with a steel one takes ~1/4″ off the groups on my Tikkas. My 308 also really likes the 208 amax, but I live at 4750 feet. Your elevation may limit how heavy you can go.

T3 varmint (XLR gen II folder, 20 moa MT rail, MT recoil lug, shroud, random muzzle break that I pilfered from our gunsmith, vortex viper pst 6-24×50) shot it's best group last weekend.

We like a guy who's not afraid to make it himself (that's how we started!)!
I'm surprised the factory rings have held up on those 308's. I haven't been impressed with their quality.
I have a non-typical load for 308 that runs quite well out of my T3 varmint (recently shot a .18 moa group at 430 yards with it). I'm not sure if you have access to Reloader 17 & 208 amax bullets, but if you do, let me know & I'll give you some numbers.
