<p>You should be good up to about 180gr if your worried about stability; the hard part is finding ammo</p>
<p>If you hand load this shows berger 180 vld as marginally ok for 9.5 twist</p>

<p>If the action screw in rear is too long or too torqued and hits the under side of the rear bolt it will cause drag on the underside of the firing pin assembly (safety indicator bar?)</p>
<p>You can test by moving action screws and then manipulating the bolt to see if it still drags the same without rear screw and verify&hellip;</p>

<p>I too am a Tikka fan and don&#8217;t mind the factory stock, its more ridgid than Ruger American stock I had .. I just purchased my second superlite in 7mm mag and found that it too touches the stock a little bit but will grind it like my 6.5 creed with 4inch grinder .. I&#8217;m hoping to add prefit barrel for other calibers for this mag bolt face&hellip;</p>

Verify the two action screw torque&#8217;s</p>
<p>I think those stocks have built in recoil lug. hopefully its fully engaged to action and then contact Bell and Carlson support for any known issues people have reported</p>

The stock was in my left hand braced against solid table and grinder in other hand</p>

<p>I got impatient waiting for support RMA; polished chamber my self; removed bolt and did this:</p>
<p>Step 1:</p>
<p>Took wooden dowel 3/8&#8242; thick and cut 1.5&#8243; slit on one end with thin Dremel about 1/4 inch deep and small piece of tape to hold it, the dowel was about 12-13 inches long. Cut wet/dry 400 grit 1.5&#8243; wide and rapped it till it was just smaller than&hellip;</p>

I think I will just fix the bore myself with a little mild polishing and test it again. </p>
<p>Too bad really as it balances so nice and the 6.5 Creedmoor is such a nice&hellip;</p>

Hoping to test the combo out next&hellip;</p>

<p>Very Light: Mine measured 6lbs 2oz</p>
<p>Great Balance in hands</p>
<p>Seems accurate but only breaking done thus far while setting up new scope</p>
<p>24.3&#8243; barrel fluted compared to the more common 22&#8243; hunters and still as light for tad more velocity</p>
<p>The rifle is only available at CabelasBassPro (strata camo)&hellip;</p>

<p>The bolt cycles smooth without ammo but when I went to break it in I found heavy bolt lift after firing; I had taken apart and fully cleaned the weapon on purchase to include the bolt</p>
<p>I also noticed fired cases had scratches from chamber near&hellip;</p>
