Get it rebarreled for 300 + barrel from longbarrels in texas. I would buy the barrel from bugholes.com (great guy to deal with). I'm going to go ahead and say 208 amax 😉 I'm getting a new barrel in 308 just for that purpose (it will shoot the lower grs as well – just throated a little deep for the 208s).

Take what ever velocity you find on the net and subtract 25fps for every inch of barrel you don't have. The majority of the vendors test their velocity with a 24″ barrel.
