Nothing wrong with 6.6 x 55 l shoot one now and again, just follow the reloading data for a modern rifle , has for the 6.5 Creedmoor it was designed from the ground up for long distance accuracy shoulder angle etc , but most of all get the caliber YOU want and not what somebody wants for you , when you've sorted the rifle and need advice on scopes then get back to me

Hi even a secondhand bolt will need a gun smith to get the head space correct, it's not a case of just put in another bolt and away you go

Hi imho the barrel will be fine, 6.5 creedmoor is a great caliber just make sure you can get ammo / cases , I'm in England and trying to get Norma / Nosler brass is hard work , even importing it my self from the USA is hard going has most people are out of stock , I've been trying to find 150 cases of Norma / Nosler since October with no luck so far

Reference the screws you get what you pay for , if you want cheap screws just use the ones that come with the rifle, it's often cheaper in the long run to pay for quality

Don't know if you can get them where you are , Try Tier one muzzle break , they work and if you're inclined there threaded on the outside so you can fit there moderater/ silencer over the break without the need to remove it , and there fit and finish are second to none

Hi I'm guessing you're in America, if so it has to be mountain tactical for the work , if you're in England try Dav Wild at Valkyrie

Hi first thing you should look at is the availability of brass and Dias, My new rifle is going to be a 6.5 Creedmoor and the brass and dies over here in England are very hard to find, I've imported both from America and even then there was hard to find

Hi the quality is superb on these stock , the only downside is there not fully sealed at the factory, not a problem if you don't do rain , but worth knowing if you do ,

Form Creedmoor from .308 Lapua?
No don't want to form from another caliber , just get the cases which I've managed in the right caliber , what I wanted to know was the availability of supplies in America as is if there in short supply there there none existent here , also its crossed my mind there's not a lot of creedmoor cases and especially dies here I could order a few now from America and when people start to take delivery of Rugers new precision rifle they'll be needing some dies etc and will be willing to pay a premium

Hi welcome. Step 1 replace the recoil lug with a st/st one , second make sure the barrel is not touching the stock at any point
