there is a reason that big .50 cal bolt guns use brakes. I have a clamp on brake on my light 30-06. It makes recoil bearable and has no effect on optics. Ironically, the worst guns for recoil damaging optics are air rifles and some strong springed assault rifles which recoil “opposite” of the standard. They shove forward instead of backward. if you have a scope rated for air rifles you have a decent scope.

SWFA scopes are only available in the U.S. as far as i know. They are excellent quality and if you have a source, then by all means go for the magnification and features you like. I have the SWFA 10x and wish i had the variable for $100+ more.

i kinda glibly wished you happy shooting, what i should have done is to recommend you bring it back to the dealer. your rifle is under warranty and I don't mean to have you void it. I would stone the burr off my personal rifle but I don't mean to suggest you take my amateur gunsmithing advice to fix a problem that should be fixed by the manufacturer.

If you have backed out the screw that controls the spring tension as far as you can and the trigger still is not as light as you want, then you can file a bit off the trigger assembly screw that stops the spring screw.
This is not a good idea unless you really know your stuff. At some point you could back the screw so far that you leave the spring without any pressure. Get the Ernie the gunsmith spring and don't mess with backing screws out to dangerous limits.

Stay with the factory length, skads of folks in other countries attach supressors to factory Tikkas (I have no personal experience with this)

Dogdown is correct. The lug dimensions are set by the slot in the action not the slot in the stock. If you have an “loose” stock recoil lug recess in the stock, your best option is to bed the stock and tighten up the tolerances between the wood/plastic and the lug. Check out some smithing options elsewhere in this forum.

There are lots of bolt handles available on eBay for reasonable price, and several countries.
Look on you tube for how they handle.
