I can't say for the specific rifle
But- if a factory tikka is not free floated then I suspect a problem.

My only advice is don't mess with the stock until you are sure it's not covered under some kind of warranty.
If you are confident in your understanding and ability, the feel free to work on it!

Short answer is I did not
I put it on my 6.5×55 shot some 475 yd targets and then a deer and left it on.  I will say it is a spectacular stock.  It is not like a chassis, in that it has a cant.  Meaning your right hand is placed at a bit of an angle- this is good if you have a good position.
A chassis will place your hand vertical in most cases.also good in certain circumstances.

I cannot give you a specific recommendation but I have no regrets in buying it.

As dog said the Nosler option is very good if you find a good load.  The monolithic barns can work well if the velocity is there.  I lean to the noslers since I hear troubling anecdotes regarding barns.

Larkin is right  H4350 is the perfect powder for the 6.5×55
And the 6.5 creedmoor and several others in this range

I have been distracted for the last year or so but I plan to work up several loads using H4350 and the Berger 140 hybrid and the nosler 140 gr custom competition.

There could be better settings but you will have to explore them.

Job bore paste is effective at removing stubborn deposits.  Break in should not involve these type of deposits.  Since sako barrels are so good, I would clean as I would withe any barrel including brass brush and solvent.
