T3x tactical not free floating ???
Hi guys just got my new T3X tactical in 300 wm with phos 24'' barrel.. Grear looking rifle except the barrel doesnt look free floating all the way down to the action.. Ive checked with a dollar bill and it stop 2-3 inches in front on the action just about where tje chamber seems to end.. Previoulys I had a T3 laminated ss in 30-06 and it was free floating all the way to the recoil lug.. Is it normal or should I dremel it ?? Havent shot it yet but just to have the peace of mind.

I can't say for the specific rifle
But- if a factory tikka is not free floated then I suspect a problem.My only advice is don't mess with the stock until you are sure it's not covered under some kind of warranty.
If you are confident in your understanding and ability, the feel free to work on it!
