How about inlets for CDI bottom metal?

Are these like the composite stocks from McMillan and Manners (fiber glass).  Therefore the machining / inletting is the same?

The process for enlarging the barrel channel will be similar to a 1″ ball end mill or sandpaper and a 1 inch socket?

A new bolt is definitely not a drop in part.  Headspace depends on the bolt closed to chamber shoulder distance.

As for the damage to the bolt – I have no experience.  it looks like it was several blown primers to cause that amount of damage? 

I wonder if a new bolt would cost %50 of a new gun.  The way Beretta is monopolizing, prices are way high.

On my TRG, i had to heat up the rail with a MAP torch.  Propane will work, but take longer, the loctite in the screws will soften.  Make sure you get the right head size, or you'll strip the head.

I swear they went ape shit with the loctite, the even used loctite between the rail and receiver.

The big button is the “release” on the adjustment.
From the pictures it looked like a “screw” type adjustment.  This is good to know.
I hear that laminate stocks still do compress over time, so pillars should be installed?
Did those who own the  laminate stock get pillars installed? 
How tikka shooters stayed with the plastic bottom metal? 

I really like the GRS stocks and have four. The first one I bought about 5 years ago and is on a 204 foxing rifle it is the adjustable hunting stock. The next is a .223 in a GRS sporter stock, then there's a .260 in a long range and lastly a 308 in a Hybrid. Three of these rifle are Tikkas and one Howa the Tikkas fitted straight away onto the steel lug that comes in the stock. I did a bedding job on one but it shoots no better than the others. The lug is very tuff and none of them have a single make on them after hundreds of rounds. The Howa also fitted well, out the box.
The Hybrid has been developed from the long range but they have removed the mono pod on the rear and made it flatter to run a rear bag. The mono pod on the long range is nice however it can drop if pressure is put on it.
All the stocks have the same grip that is off set and lines your trigger finger up perfectly also they are thumb up, that feels very comfortable. The stocks comes fitted with a flush cup and sling stud on the newer ones, the older ones only had studs. I like the side mounted rear cup or stud it make the rifle lay flat on your back when carrying it.
The butt pad and cheek rest are adjusted by just pushing a large button in and pulling or pushing to where you want them. The butt pad can also be moved up and down the same way.
Being 6'6″ I find a lot of stocks to small but these fit me fine they also fit my vertical challenged friend.
Three of them have been fitted with aics type bottom metals without a problem.
The only bad thing I can think about them is they are a tad heavy, otherwise  they would be perfect.

I think its on par with Accuracy International magazines.  I wonder if alpha industries would make aftermarket mags.

My full up chassis with all the bells and whistles (adjustable stock, LOP, rear monopod, full accessory 1913 rails, and flush cups) was about $1100 shipped.  Take off about $400 for less options.  Craig could best give the price.
Shoot him and email and say you heard he was making a batch for the tikka t3.

FYI he makes a folding stock for it too.

i'm put it in a vice and turn it the right way.  The camming action needs to pull that hammer spring back, which is about 30 lbs.

I'd scrub off the rust as much as possible with steel wool.  Then get some alumahyde and paint it any color you want.
Aluma-hyde is tough, you can get it from Brownells.

there's a tikka t3 bolt shroud on there, as well as mag loaders.

any new aftermarket parts?

1) magazines that hold 5 rounds for the magnum calibers?
2) contoured pillars for pillar bedding
3) aftermarket stocks – well see Manners componsites, they have quite a few now. T4A is awesome
4) bottom metal?  lower priority, as CDI precision is making them already, but just not available for all calibers.
