I think it's a good idea, the more customizable a piece is the more likely you are to sell it because the guy who wants one style and the guy who wants the other style are both pleased with a universal piece. I know this post is old, but are you still thinking of making something like this?

I think the medium mounts should work fine. I went with the high mounts because I am planning on putting it in an XLR Chassis and didn't want to have to replace the mounts.

I use a brake on my 223 and some people laugh at me until they shoot it.  Brakes are not just for reducing recoil, but being able to spot your shots by eliminating muzzle jump.

When i was coaching i used to tell the guys to stop time by breathing out and settling, and then take the shot. A lot of guys hold their breath which is inconsistent, or they breath out and as soon as they THINK they're out of air they take the shot but its usually at different places as well. Looks good. I like the GameReaper mounts, I have them one mine also. When you rest your cheek on the stock do you have a line of sight through your scope, or do you have to lift your head? If you dont you should take care of that.
