Tikka GRS Hunter
I noticed on the store when purchasing the stock there are options for the CDI Bottom metal. Does it already have an inlet for that, or will it need smithing? If it does need smithing is that something you can do before shipping? Is it fully freefloated? Does it come with a recoil lug?
Has anyone purchased this stock? I wanna know what you think!
It says it weighs 46oz (2.875lbs) How much weight difference is this on the factory stock?
My goal is to keep my gun light, but this stock looks well built and i really like the adjustability of LOP and comb.

I have the Sporter/Varmint on order for my T3 Varmint 22-250. Jason has assured me that the looks of this stock alone will give me 0 MOA groups at 400 yards!!!! I can't wait!!! I should have deliver in December and I will be posting some pictures. Mine is inletted for the cdi bottom metal. This will complete my customization of my Tikka. Just glancing at the picture of the adjustable hunter and the sporter/varmint, I see few differences.

I decided on the Sporter/Varmint myself! It's irresistible… I'll have mine late December too. I have my CDI bottom metal here along with a 10 and 5 round mag. I just got the aluminum bolt shroud. I'm thinking about getting the trigger too, not because i want to change the slack, i just want to be able to clear the weapon while on safe. I'm running a Leupold Mark IV 1.5-5x. I also cut my barrel down to 18″ on my .308 Lefty. What have you done for yours?

I put on a new bolt and bolt shroud. I left my trigger alone…not totally….I adjusted it down to almost 2 1/2 pounds. For hunting I will eventually get it down to 2 pounds. It is crisp. I had some previous posts showining my rifle. It has the 20 moa rail and a Zeiss 6.5 to 20 scope. Shoots 1/4 moa to 3/8 moa with factory Hornady. I will post some pictures when I get my new stock on.
