If I were just trying to go lightweight I would get a McMillan Edge synthetic and be done with it. I prefer the looks and feel of the laminated stock and really like the looks of fluted barrels. This started as a cosmetic thing and getting it under 7 lbs is a bonus

I guess every gun is different. I just picked up some Remington 100 gr ammo to try.

I picked up some Hornady American Whitetail 117 gr ammo and the first group at 100 yds had 3 shots touching in my Laminated stainless T3

Took it out the other day with some Nornady 117 gr American Whitetail ammo to sight in. I bore sighted it and fired one shot at 25 yds which was dead center. I moved to 100 yds and fired 3 shots touching right at 2 3/4 inches high. I called it good and left the scope alone. This one is a keeper I think.
