    LOL
I work nights and get a bit  😮 when I get tired , so far my research is seko brass , 50 -55 gr heads and not to get a press from Lee has its better to spend that bit more for better quality set up , saving money in the long run , just need to wait for a bonus from work to repair my motor bike then the rest I can spend on the reloading set up , since it seams I'm the first , when I get setup and start experimenting I'll post the results up good and the bad

    Hi
If it was mine I'd softly rub the area with very fine furniture wire wool , then use a good bee's wax polish , I've used this method on high end furniture so don't see any difference with a stock .

Tikka Shooters Forum favicon icon 296 Bullseyes

    Hi
My super Varmint is a 12:1 which for the UK is how they now come , If I really wanted a 8:1 it would be a factory order with at least a 6month wait , my 12:1 should be (imo) good for up to 400yards the 8:1 up to 1000yards or so I'm lead to believe , so 10:1 should be midway witch is where you actually want it , but if you might go further you will need the 8:1  , another option would be a tikka action on a custom gun , it depends on your budget ,

    Hi
here in the uk a .223 8:1 are a factory order (for my super vermint) , and at least 6months , so I went for the 12:1 , I'm just shooting paper so for me it just means choosing ammo under 62g , at the moment I'm have good results with sako 50g gameheads , imo if your going for medium game (give us a clue ie fox )if your medium is bigger than a fox you'll need the 8:1 for larger round if not a larger calibre agin that's just imo
Also it might of been polite to start another thread with your question

    Hi
I'm doing just this at the moment , on the first five round clean the barrel after every one , then every 5 shots until no fouling is present , it could take 10 shots or 25+ shots ,I'm going to the range tonight to shoot another round of five , so far the barrel has had 10 rounds from me (plus what was shot at tikka and at the proof house )and there already a vast reduction in copper from the first 5 to the last 5

Tikka Shooters Forum favicon icon 296 Bullseyes

    Hi
Vortex scopes are imo great scopes for the money , I was going to get one of there scopes for my T3 semi custom being built at the moment , but I war offered a 5.5-22 x 50 nxs nightforce for at 60% of retail so it would of been rude not to get it , as for rings theres only one worth getting (imho) and there the unimount rings for third eye tactical ,these people will ship to youhttp://www.ospreyrifles.com/index.php/shop-at-osprey-rifles/evo-leisure-products/product/view/13/131  ,

    Hi
I use Frog lube , imho its good stuff and dose every thing its supposed to do , the main reason for me to start using it was that its non toxic and we have some very curious Flatcoated retrievers running around the house

    Hi
There's quite a few for sale over here in England , I'm guessing your in the USA , you could look into importing your own from here in England , don't know what's involved but it might be worth a little investigation into what's need ie shipping/law
