Hi the main difference will be we won't have to have the stupid laws that are trying to get past , like no military looking rifles all the laws that we are going to make are through elected people and not mindless Eurocrats , as far as every thing else it's all good , Germany/ France's governments have been approached by there own Unions and manufacturing centres to get a free trade deal has we import a lot of there cars ,machine tools etc , the only person that says were at the back of the line for a deal is your own president, it's all good has far as I'm concerned ,and we now have our own Independence Day lol

You will also need a bore guide to ' guide 'the rod into the barrel , as for the hopp gun cleaning range you will have to wait for someone who uses it , if you ask a group of rifle owners on which cleaning products they use and why you will get lots of different answers and reasons , I personally use Frog Lube , the first reason for me to use it is it's not poisonous to my dogs , and it's works for me , ask some else and the'll say it rubbish and to use something else

Don't drag the brush back through, take it off you'll only drag crap back into the barrel, the only thing that needs to come back is the cleaning rod itself

Yes Lapua scenars, I also have the ballistic ae app set up on my phone, gives me a starting point for the scope, and it's useful to have a spotter has the wind a 1000 yards away can be very different to where your shooting from .
Also when your finding your load don't get too hung up on group size 1 moa @ 100 meters is fine , there's lots of more important things to get sorted first , like you body position, how much you are loading the bipod , the pressure other parts of your body are putting on the rifle, all of these can have dramatic effect on your shot and need to be there same time after time , also get someone to watch you shoot , you might have something going wrong that you don't know about like flinching . You could try getting some professional ' lessons, over here in England I use WMS firearms training, they teach you how to self assess your shooting, by the end of a day's lessons I knew straight after I'd pulled the trigger that it was going to miss the target because I'd realised I'd got something wrong before the bullet had even reached the target , But the most important thing is to enjoy the proses and don't get down beet because it's not going to plan , the bad shots/days make it even better on a good day , I can still remember the feeling when I hit a target the size of a foxes head at 800 meter , it took a number of shots to get the scope sorted and using a good spotter to call the shots

It should be better the the ruger on quality as in my eyes the ruger is terrible, it shoots very well but the fit and finish is terrible its price over here far too high, it should be sub 1k but its around the £1400 mark
