I don't have one, but I know they have a metal skeleton to strengthen them, so I would be surprised if they flex the same as the factory stock.

Nope, bottom “metal” is the same for both; it's the available space in the mags that differs.

Take a deep breath and cal down…………

Then, if they are all already stripped, take the bolt out and using a small punch (or a nail) carefully punch them out into the action raceway (be very careful not to damage any of the threads on the action). They are plastic and will come out easily. Finally, make sure you clean out the threads to get any bits out and then fit your picatinny rail. They are just there to stop rain and dirt getting into the action for those who use Optilock or similar bases and rings instead of a rail. So, you see, the rifles are not a “piece of crap” at all.

Thanks for the update. I'm pleased to hear that business is good, but it sounds like you are up against it just to keep up with the current line of kit. I'm a fan of the stuff I have from you so far, so I will wait until you can pull your pants up and get the DBMs out. Until then I will be single feeding my 3.5 OAL .300 Win Mag bullets.

Yep, I got one and it is very well made and was delivered promptly. The lug on the base that fits into the Optilock recess on the top of the action is a perfect fit and it takes a lot of the recoil pressure off the rail screws (mine's a .300 Win Mag). I strongly recommend them.

Matchman is absolutely right. Look at terminalballisticsresearch.com in NZ as Nathan Foster has developed a very sound way of bedding T3s. It's more involved than a Rem, but not that hard to do. Devcon 10110 plastic steel (thick paste) or 10210 (liquid steel are the 2 options. You need a bedding surface of at least 60 thou (1.5mm) otherwise it can crack. Epoxy the recoil lug to the action recess to bed it, and once it's all set the lug will break from the action and be fixed in the stock. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply.  I have .300 Win Mag getting a new barrel as we speak. I will be interested to see how much the take off weighs and how much heavier the light Palma barrel is.

If the muzzle diameter is the same as the Lite it will be .603″ from memory. 5/8 24 is .625″, so it won't work. Dog Down's suggestion should work.

There should be some play in the fit between the action recess and the lug, but not with the fit of the lug into the stock mortise. I think superglue would break as its too brittle.
