Actually if they do it I want it in .17 wsm
If the put out a quality WSM for lets say $600 they would ensure the life of the cartridge and have at least a thousand buyers in the first months -

While I like the idea of a qd suppressor, I prefer the direct thread for accuracy and less expense

I see brownells has an adapter for 9/16 I might go that route.

What would it cost to refit a tikka with the new type of lug?

Hi beast, welcome to the forum! Your CTR is a great rifle! The 300 WSM is a great caliber, I think you will find that it kicks like a mule regardless of the model. If you plan to get an aftermarket stock, then get the least expensive model. If you want a nice factory stock I love the forest stock and the Hunter is nice also.
Anyway, if you get a 300 WSM, get the hard recoil lug, the soft recoil pad and the mtn tac pic rail. Then get a muzzle brake and you will love that rifle like your dog!(assuming you have a good dog).

I am not an expert by most measures but I would counsel you to stay with standard measures in regards to caliber and action length. for certain, i would not reccomend any non standard caliber- if only from a cost perspective. Good luck and good shooting my friend!!

Jason at Mountain tactical can better answer this than I can. I have a standing order for an extended 30-06 mag in anticipation of its development.

so, conceivably, i could “gift” you a priming tool with no tax?

omg if tikka does a rimfire, I want it to be a 17 WSM. I will buy it up to $600.

not sure what you need but if you are using a Tikka get the hard recoil lug from mtn tacktical

I'm curious Larkin, what is the mark up for U.S.A. made products for you? For example the new 21 Century stainless Priming tool is $118 or so plus a few $ for shipping (its a spectacular tool btw). sorry for the thread hijacking…

I will be right behind Dog Down in purchasing one! (I decided to hold off on a 2nd suppressor in favor of this!) I'm now glad I didn't mess with my Sporter stock lol. I will be looking forward to the pictures also!!
