I am following this project as well! It's crazy that e stock t3 was competitive out of the box ( not surprising tho).

Welcome Sam!
There are a lot of Canadiens on this site (sometimes I wish I was one). Take some time to wander through the old posts and ask questions as you like!

My advice is to loose the ceramic. I have no evidence to support my position. I can only look at the results of the pins and promote the less aggressive media.
All that said I want to see your results!

Very nice dim!
I am a big fan of manners stocks (based on reports – not personal experience I should say). -

Personally I would follow Dogdown's advice, if Varget is unavailable the new IMR4166 (i f I recall) is pretty close to varget if a bit more costly.

I have heard similar stories, it's a shame (to be honest though I have never used one- changing the spring on the factory trigger has worked well for me).

I would send a message to Jason for a proper answer, I don't know

Hehe, wait till your at 9,000 feet trying to put the sneak on an elk or Mule deer and then if you don't notice the extra weight I will be very impressed! All kidding aside, heavy barrels have lots of advantages if weight is not your primary concern. One thing I think about is that buying a heavy barrel lets you use the stock for many barrels in your collection where a light version limits the value of your stock since it won't fit between rifles not in a slender profile.

You won't be dissapointed in the rifle! Grafs.com has Lapua 69 gr scenar-L ammo on sale if you want to buy loaded rounds that work particularly well in the t3's (assuming 1:8 twist anyway). SirVille has great posts regarding this rifle/ammo combination. I can also attest to the ammo's performance in t3 lights.
