I have shoot a T3 light in .308 and can hit 5″ steel circle plates with it at 700 yards with no problem using FGMM 175gr ammo.

I went with the Lite Stainless for the same reason – can't get the Varmint in .308 here.

I think the medium mounts should work fine. I went with the high mounts because I am planning on putting it in an XLR Chassis and didn't want to have to replace the mounts.

Don't discount ammo. I am very inconsistent with non-match ammo. I bought several boxes of Winchester PowerPoint because it cost a lot less and wanted to be able to shoot more. Well, I was all over the place and got pretty frustrated thinking it was me. I tried the FGMM's and it made a huge difference. Just something to think about.

I love the XLR Chassis. Definitely in my plans for next year.

Thanks guys! I only have 160 rounds down range with it, but I really like it so far. It's been a few years since I shot on a regular basis so I'm a bit rusty and I think it shoots better than I do at the moment, but I'll get there. The left shot on group 2 was obviously my fault.
