I don't have a TAC A1, but looking at some pictures it looks like the same trigger, I have 3 of those trigger shoes, they are nice, but it would be better if they had groves on the front instead of being smooth.

Varmint models did not come with a base, you may need to apply heat to the screws to get them loose. A hair dryer will work fine, heat gun is better but need to be careful.

If you are wanting a 6.5×55 and want a heavy barrel, look at the Sporter model, you may or may not like the stock, you can always sale the stock and get one you like, I did that with my 260 because i wanted one with a 24″ barrel, I sold the stock for $500 and got a B&C m40 stock. I have no experience with 6.5×55.

I am more then pleased with the stock, no problems at all, All I did was bed the action, no other work needed, the guns seem to be better balanced. Accuracy didnt change a bit. You were asking about a t3 lite action in a m40 stock I found some pics on facebook site called tikka t3 rifles, you might want to look at those.

Just use some quality gun solvent on the glue, just let it soak and do some scrubbing, That is all I use.

Here I found a pic thought I would share with everyone. They look like a nice fit, the only thing they need is to be grooved instead of smooth on the front.

Friend of mine has done 2 of them for varmint barrels, B&C only offers it for the T3 Lite, if I remember right the forearm is 1 1/4″ wide.

Yes there is enough room to fit a varmint barrel, I have seen 2 of them done.
