BTW – do you guys have an access to Delta line of sights over there ? Japanese made ( Light Optical Works ), Polish branded scopes. Tremendous scopes and for the money – unbeatable!

Did some 150 meter shooting today. 8 shots with Lapua OTM Scenar L 69gr. I pulled the shot nr 3and 7 to the right but every shot would've hit a Sparrow in the head regardless.
An EXTREMELY accurate .223 😉 -

I have installed aftermarket trigger springs in most of my T3's (shhhh in case the liability police are monitoring) and the factory trigger is superb with the specialty springs. Don't spend the money on a Jard or other until you try that simple modification. Pulling shots after new spring will only happen if you sneeze or get “goosed”.
I use “Ernie the gunsmith” varmint springs at a cost of around $10 US.
Also I just installed a new bolt handle (the carbon fiber one – Lumlys?- I forget). Big improvement in the Berserk stock. The factory one was ok in the factory stock, but I like the ergonomics of the larger handle with the Berserk. Btw, the carbon & titanium aftermarket is noticeably lighter than the ss factory bolt handle.
My only complaint has nothing to do with rifle- my local public range is closed for foreseeable future!
I have to use the range near my parents (150 miles away- better range actually- I guess I will be spending lots of time at the parents). Not a big hardship actually since I am there often for our business, it is just my loading equipment is here.

Mine has the set trigger so no need for softer springs. I didn't use the set mode when i shot that group. I want to be able to shoot the “normal” trigger too. Maybe i should change the spring anyway – done that in my Quads and they use the same trigger unit.

Just for the sake of it i changed the trigger spring to get a lighter pull at its “non-set” stage. Nice! Now the bugger feels like my Quads (same trigger unit) and when set it´s a thing of Beauty – for target shooting.
I´ve also found the cartridge this rifle loves : Lapua OTM Scenar L 69gr ! One holers all day long – and i mean ONE holers. A five shot Group at 100meters is just an oval, elongated hole. I´ll start hand loading/re-loading and will try the Berger VLCD 70 gr bullets in Lapua and Norma brass. I also have approx 400 rds of Norma Match with 77gr Sierra MK and those shoot superbly too. Life´s good ! 😉

Thanks for the range report! Grafs.com has lapua 69 gr scenars (loaded) on sale for $63/50 rounds (about). I will pick up a couple boxes to try, great brass regardless of how they work in my rifles.

Well 100 rnds of Lapua .223 69 gr scenar-L arrived and I shot 30+ rounds at 97 and 197 yds and I will say that if I had the budget I would buy 1k of this ammo! 3/4 in at 197 Yds ( our range has been “fixed” to deal with imaginary concerns which shortened shooting lanes by 3 yards). If you have the coin and like Lapua brass, you should buy this ammo! I look forward to trying to Match it with my reloads!
My only concern is that it is not as fast as I would try for on my handloads.
Great tip SirVille!!
Grafs still has it on sale.
