Pick me out one that has nice tight, straight grain throughout, like the action area on the one pictured. That's what I like to see in a wood stock.
An action, a barrel, a lug, and a set of pillars is set aside… 😉

Sounds good Al… I'll sort through them for the one I said we would set aside for you.
They were in for another coating to ensure durability in weather yesterday.
Laminate is so much easier to work with! But there is just something about real wood that gives a stock more personality.
So far we are on schedule to start putting these in customers' hands on Friday!
