If your going to rebarrel it immediately, you may want to keep looking for a donor action from a used T3 – They are often in good shape and MT can spin on any barrel you like. For example I just saw a T3 light in .270WSM used (looked new) for $499 – obviously won't work for your project but just saying some deals are out there.
I would advise not to go with the RH action if your a lefty – you will curse that thing every time you need a fast followup shot…
Good luck friend, -EricThanks for the reply! It's funny but Im quicker with the bolt on the right side. I think it's because I have short arms and I can't quite reach the bolt as well from the left. I also have a harder time loading my Savage 308 in left hand. I prob just need to practice more. I have been shooting a right handed rifle all my life.

So I ordered a left hand T3 lite in 223 from Euro Optic it should be here on Tuesday! I will shoot it as is for the summer then send it off to mountain Tactical this winter and build it up from there. I can't wait for it! 🙂

You won't be dissapointed in the rifle! Grafs.com has Lapua 69 gr scenar-L ammo on sale if you want to buy loaded rounds that work particularly well in the t3's (assuming 1:8 twist anyway). SirVille has great posts regarding this rifle/ammo combination. I can also attest to the ammo's performance in t3 lights.
