I got my spring from Ernie. 

I thought about shaving the screw on my trigger but I instead chose to install a different spring.  My trigger breaks cleanly and safely at around 1.7 lbs.

I thought I'd throw my info on to this thread.

LH Tikka Sport in .308, 24″ barrel.  Trigger is adjusted to 1.7 lbs.  Scope is Minox ZA 5 5-25 x 56 tac.  Leupold PRW rings on an inexpensive 2 piece steel base (can't remember the manuf) while I wait for my 1 piece from the tikka performance boys to get their batch finished.

This rifle continues to meet my high expectations.  I've been averaging 100 yard groups in the 5/8″ range and shot a couple 1.5″ groups at 300 yards the other day dialing up 1.4 mills.  What a fine rifle!

Hey, this is my first post.  Although I've shot sakos for almost 30 years, I just bought my first tikka.  I just took delivery of a LH sporter 308 with 24″ barrel.  I outfitted it with a a 5-25×55 minox ZA 5tac.  Its an outstanding scope and the system wowed me on its first trip to the range.  Why buy a chassis?  The stock is outstanding.
