Zeiss Terra line
Posted by Kchase1 on September 7, 2013 at 12:44 amHey guys, I just ordered a Zeiss Terra 3×4-12×42, gonna top my .300 win mag Lite.. I got a great deal on it, so i figured why not. Anybody have actual expierence or first hand knowledge of them? I know what shot show said and that they are assembled overseas.. But can anyone add to that??

Good day.
I am in the process of getting my T3 Lite Stainless .308 licensed. (Massive mission in South Africa) I am considering the same scope for it.
Any feedback regarding this scope would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Zeiss scopes are at the top of the tree for hunting imo, the V8 range imho are the best in the world at killing out to 800 metres but there expensive, but worth it

I have never heard a bad thing about Zeiss optics. On your high kicking gun I would reccommend a brake. Look at tiberasaurusrex on you tube to get info on tactical optics – he has some good insight.

This thread is a bit old but I just joined the forum. I have heard that the terra line is big step down from the conquest, which sold for about the same price with careful shopping. The conquests are assembled in USA from European glass. I have 3 3-9 x 40 conquests, two with z 600 reticle and one with a # 4 I believe it is. They are fantastic scopes with superior optical clarity and contrast and I highly recommend them for a hunting rifle. I would seek out a conquest (or look at meopta and minox) and pass on the terra.

My T3 Tac has a Conquest Duralyte 2-8×42 and I could not be happier with it. Glass is exceptionally clear, never have had to adjust once zero was set.
A replacement is coming for the Duralyte, which will go on another rifle, which is used primarily for hunting. Saved up beau coup months and finally placed an order for the Schmidt and Bender PMII 10×42. -

Wow s&b is top tier from what I hear, though Zeiss ranks up there. Let us know what your impressions.

I recently purchased a Zeiss Terra 3x9x50 and cant tell any discernible difference between it and my Zeiss Conquest MC 3x9x40. It seems to be a pretty good scope.
