<p>So that we are talking about the same thing: Your Tikka M07 is a combination gun? If so, you have 11mm dovetail on the receiver. <p>I did some research few years back, and if I recall correctly, M66 came out in 1966, M67 a year later, and M07 in 1970. The serial numbers would tell the full story, but one needs access to a book called &#8220;Arma  Fennica,&#8221; which I do not have.</p>

<p>T3 Hunter is available with open sights, at least here in Canada. If you end up getting one, a great mount option is MaSi QD mount. I have two for my M55, giving me the choice of two scopes and irons. </p>
