I really appreciate the info, sounds like it needs addressed, mine came out of the box like that and  it wasnt till later i noticed how it was happening. I plan on using the same bandaid method you mention above. I hope they can resolve this issue quickly and take care of those who have already purchased.

For a brand new never fired riffle, it is somewhat bothersome to see the nick !

Well i tried some Burris med scope rings, no go there. Just ordered the seekins 1.45 rings, just read where you mentioned covers not clearing and to go no less than 1.5. I hope these work !!!

That is a nice set up, also have the tac a1 6.5 with the same scope, how much weight is she packing ?

Thanks for the replies- I'm thinking it's the ammo being to long from factory as well, only ammo I'm having trouble with !!
