Thanks! watched the video but did the 20 MOA anyway and although I haven't shot it at long ranges yet, I believe I definitely made the right decision. Am going to do the same with my T3 Lite in 223.

The 75 bthp should fit into the mag, but the A max will not. You can check with Hornady on this. I think they will tell you the same thing.

In my experience with 223 & Varget, it likes the case as full as possible, even compressed. Just watch your pressures.

I think the Berger website has a good article on this. I would check it out and then make your own decisions. Some guns like them close to the lans while others prefer them a bit away from the lans.

I agree that handloads tuned to your rifle mayhelp but in both of my Tikka's the recoil lug is tightly embedded into the stock. Before I would bed it I would give Beretta a call and explain your problem to them. They may be able to offer an explanation or provide a suggestion or solution. Another thought I have is to loosen the action screws and tap the butt of the stock on the floor to seat it tightly into the bedding block and then tighten the action screws. Sometimes some guns are fussy about the amount of torque applied to the action screws. Sorry about the less than stellar groups but i think Superformance is probably not an accuracy powder anyway. >:(

Will this stabilize 142 gr bullets to 1000 yds? What is the price and do you have any pictures. What kind of groups are you getting at longer ranges?

Well after the second trip T3 Tikka Varmint, I found a 80 gr AMAX load that seems to work. 4 shots went into a ragged hole of .176 and the 5th shot I moved which extended the group to .400. I could not believe the group but was very happy with it. I used new Win Brass and 205M primers with 24.3 grains of Varget. 24.4 grains of Varget seemed to mildly start flattening primers. They are loaded to slightly off the lans.
This is the first time I used this load, does anyone think it's smart to load a bunch of these. Should I do another test. The reason I ask is I have a load with 69 gr SMK's that consistently shoots exceptional with 26 gr Varget and it works in both of my Tikka's

I have shot a load for a number of years in my 22-250 that has been accurate in 3 different rifles. Accurate being 1/2 moa in all three. It is 52 gr Speer hpbt with 36.5 gr Varget and Federal 210 match primers. This load is one I load a bunch of to use in both my Kimber and my Winchester M70. Both rifles like this load as did a previous 22-250 I had. I plan to use them on a trial basis in my Savage LRPV 22-250 9″ twist.

Yes I have adjusted the trigger as light as it will go and it is very sweet. my guage says 1 1/2 lbs but feels more like 1 lb or less. If I have to I'll get an aftermarket spring and see if that even goes better.

Yes it is a 8″ twist. I also want to try the 80 gr amax bullet and see how that works.

Are these the rubber donoughts (sp) ? where do you mount these for best effectiveness?
